73.
Description
74.
iscanf
,
fiscanf
, and
siscanf
are the same as
 75.
scanf
,
fscanf
, and
sscanf
respectively, only that
 76. they restrict the available formats to non-floating-point
 77. format specifiers.
 78.

 79.
The routines
_iscanf_r
,
_fiscanf_r
, and
_siscanf_r
are reentrant
 80. versions of
iscanf
,
fiscanf
, and
siscanf
that take an additional
 81. first argument pointing to a reentrancy structure.
 82.

 83.
84.
Returns
85.
iscanf
returns the number of input fields successfully
 86. scanned, converted and stored; the return value does
 87. not include scanned fields which were not stored.
 88.

 89.
If
iscanf
attempts to read at end-of-file, the return
 90. value is
EOF
.
 91.

 92.
If no fields were stored, the return value is
0
.
 93.

 94.
95.
Portability
96.
iscanf
,
fiscanf
, and
siscanf
are newlib extensions.
 97.

 98.
Supporting OS subroutines required:
close
,
fstat
,
isatty
,
 99.
lseek
,
read
,
sbrk
,
write
.
