  80. object specified as either an absolute or a relative file name.  In

  81. the latter case, <small>GDB</small> will try to load the reader from a

  82. pre-configured directory, usually <samp><var>libdir</var>/gdb/</samp> on a UNIX

  83. system (here <var>libdir</var> is the system library directory, often

  84. <samp>/usr/local/lib</samp>).
