  58. <pre class="example">#include &lt;string.h&gt;

  60. </pre></div>
  61. <p><strong>Description</strong><br>
  62. This function searches memory starting at <var>length</var> bytes
  63. beyond <code>*<var>src</var></code> backwards for the character <var>c</var>.
  64. The search only ends with the first occurrence of <var>c</var>; in
  65. particular, <code>NUL</code> does not terminate the search.
  66. </p>
  67. <br>
  68. <p><strong>Returns</strong><br>
  69. If the character <var>c</var> is found within <var>length</var> characters
  70. of <code>*<var>src</var></code>, a pointer to the character is returned. If
  71. <var>c</var> is not found, then <code>NULL</code> is returned.
  72. </p>
  73. <br>
  74. <p><strong>Portability</strong><br>
  75. <code>memrchr</code> is a GNU extension.
  76. </p>
  77. <p><code>memrchr</code> requires no supporting OS subroutines.
